Rebecca Moses

Rebecca Moses is an artist who intrepidly crisscrosses a panorama of creative spheres.

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she worked for Pierre Cardin before launching her own namesake label in New York. In 1991 she relocated to northern Italy where she succeeded Gianni Versace as head designer of luxury brands Genny. Three years later Rebecca relaunched her signature line of cashmere knits and was one of the first American designers to enter the European market with her fresh vision for international style: blending American lifestyle, fashion, and European craftsmanship.

She soon began to venture beyond fashion's borders, injecting her style, flair, and creative mischief to high-style consumer goods, collaborating on product, branding and creative story telling for luxury brands, including Pineider, MAC Cosmetics, Fratelli Rossetti, Furla and Panerai. Rebecca has also gained international renown for extravagantly whimsical, exquisitely rendered-fashion illustrations.

In December 2016, Ralph Pucci and Rebecca collaborated on a collection of mannequins with an accompanying show titled, “Imperfectly Perfect” which also featured her art and fashion. It was a statement in the rare, unique and new blended sense of beauty of women in the world today, empowering diversity and celebrating imperfection as the qualities that define individual style. The show represented a combination of art, visual arts, fashion and social commentary. The exhibit was featured on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily and in Vogue Italia.
