Show Man

Manhattan Magazine January 2012

When the rich and famous need their Fifth Avenue penthouse or floor through Tribeca loft furnish, the very first stop is often Ralph Pucci.

Although certainly not new to the scene- he opened his West 18th Street location in 1992 Pucci continues to be the showroom to debut designers with stupefying talent. “I look for the craft, for the hand of the artist in everything we do here," says Pucci. New to his stable are Dana Barnes, a fiber artist who makes enormous wall coverings and rugs from yarn, and Jim Zivic, whose industrial hammock can be yours for a mere $40,000.
