Ralph Pucci Opens A Cutting-Edge Showroom In Miami

Architectural Digest - February 2014

Architectural Digest

Ralph Pucci has a history of defying expectations at his New York and Los Angeles galleries, where he showcases the work of some of today’s top designers. His latest surprise is the location of his third outpost, which opened in Miami in December. Rather than settle in South Beach or in the established Design District, Pucci planted his flag in the city’s up-and-coming Wynwood arts enclave. “The creative energy is absolutely powerful,” Pucci says of the area, distinguished by its increasingly dynamic street life and exuberantly graffitied galleries, restaurants, and studios. The airy 6,000-square-foot space—a renovated warehouse with 20-foot ceilings—hosts furnishings by Hervé Van der Straeten, Patrick Naggar, Vladimir Kagan, and India Mahdavi, among others. “Eventually we want to introduce dance and music as well,” Pucci says. “We’re going to have a lot of fun here.”
